On November 7-8, 2024, the 8th International Symposium of Feed Processing Technology, sponsored by the Feed Industry Technology Innovation Alliance and supported by the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the China Feed Industry Association, and the Feed Branch of the China Grain and Oil Society, with the theme of "Empowering New Quality and Leading Intelligence", was grandly held in Wuxi, Jiangsu.
On November 7-8, 2024, the 8th International Symposium of Feed Processing Technology, sponsored by the Feed Industry Technology Innovation Alliance and supported by the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the China Feed Industry Association, and the Feed Branch of the China Grain and Oil Society, with the theme of "Empowering New Quality and Leading Intelligence", was grandly held in Wuxi, Jiangsu.
At this seminar, Vice Dean Ma Fengde introduced the production background and process characteristics of small particle materials, pointing out that small particle materials (particle size 0.3-0.8mm) are suitable for the hunting needs of young fish fry, with advantages such as high energy, high oil content, high digestion and absorption rate, good palatability, and strong water stability.
Yanggong extruder can pruduce 0.3mm mini-pellet,insure the product quality and shape.China is the world's largest producer of aquatic feed, but the popularity of aquatic seedling feed is still low and relies on imports. The development of small particle materials can not only solve the problem of "bottleneck", but also has important strategic significance for adult fish farming and feed sales. The Yanggong Machinery team also discussed the new technology of expansion granulation with friends , which aims to fully utilize alternative resources such as miscellaneous grains, meal, and by-products of grain processing to provide solutions for ensuring the quality of feed processing.
Supported by the National Key R&D Program, the two-day conference showcased innovative achievements such as "Research on Fine Processing Technology of Livestock and Poultry Feed and Forage", "Accurate Evaluation of Nutritional Value of Pig and Poultry Feed", and "Green and High Quality Breeding Nutritional Regulation Mechanism and Precision Feed Technology for Shrimp, Shellfish and Crab". We have specially invited top experts from Denmark, the Netherlands, and China to give a report, with a high focus on fine processing technology for livestock, poultry, and aquatic feed. This report contributes to further promoting exchanges and cooperation between the industry and academia, and promoting the high-quality development of new productivity in China's feed industry.
